DPM"s Shree Mallikarjun College of Arts and Commerce is one of the youngest and the prominent educational institutes of Canacona and Goa established in the 1993. This college was established with the great efforts and sacrifices of the trustees of Dyan Prabodhini Mandal with an objective of providing education to the children of needy and deprived communities of Canacona in particular and others in general. 
 Library was established along with the institute in 1993 to meet the information needs by providing information resources and services to the students, faculty and staff in  an environment    thatsupports learning, teaching and research.
